The View sind eine vierköpfige Indie-Rock/Alternativerockband aus Dundee, Schottland, bestehend aus Kyle Falconer (Gesang & Akustikgitarre), Kieren Webster (Gesang & Bassgitarre), Pete Reilly (Gitarre) und Steve Morrison (Schlagzeug). Die Band ging Anfang 2005 aus verschiedenen heimischen Coverbands hervor und erspielte sich einen Namen als Vorgruppe von Bands wie Babyshambles, Primal Scream, The Undertones und Mando Diao (Give Me Fire Tour).
