The Courteeners sind eine britische Indie-Rock-Band, die 2006 in Manchester von Liam Fray, Michael Campbell, Daniel Conan Moores und Mark Cuppello gegründet wurde. Alle vier Mitglieder stammen aus Middleton und kennen sich bereits seit dem zehnten Lebensjahr. Die Debütsingle der Band "Cavorting" wurde am 6. August 2007 durch Loog Records veröffentlicht und war unmittelbar ausverkauft. Ihre zweite Single "Acrylic" folgte am 22. Oktober und erreichte Platz 44 der britischen Charts. Read more on Last.fm
