Razorlight ist eine englisch-schwedische Band um Sänger Johnny Borrell, einem der früheren Bassisten der Libertines.

Johnny Borrell, der nach seinen Erfahrungen bei den Libertines eine eigene Band gründen will, rekrutiert 2002 zunächst den Schweden Björn Ågren über eine Anzeige. Wenig später wird als nächstes Mitglied Carl Dalemo aufgenommen. Er ist ebenfalls Schwede, spielte in seiner Heimat einige Zeit bei der Band "Spiral Stars" Gitarre, und übernahm dort auch den Gesang.
