Die Pat Metheny Group ist ein Jazz-Gruppe, die 1977 von dem Gitarristen Pat Metheny und dem Pianisten Lyle Mays gegründet wurde und den Jazzströmungen Fusion Jazz und Crossover Jazz angehören. Zu den Kernmitgliedern gehört ebenso Steve Rodby (Bassist) und über 18 Jahre auch Paul Wertico (Schlagzeug). Im Kern spielt die Pat Metheny Group melodiösen Jazz mit eingängigen aber nicht einfachen Rhythmen, die einem Popmusik Gewöhnten den Zugang zum Jazz extrem erleichtern. Read more on Last.fm
