The Pipettes sind eine Band aus Brighton, England. Markenzeichen der drei Frontfrauen sind gepunktete Kleider, enge hochhackige Schuhe und eine synchronisierte Choreographie bei den Bühnenshows. Zusätzlich gibt es noch die Männer-Formation „The Cassettes“, die als Backing Band den Gesang unterstützt und in der auch der Manager der Gruppe Bobby Barry spielt.

Obwohl die Musik der Pipettes an Girlgroups der 50er und 60er Jahre erinnert, sind sie doch weit von einer billigen Fortsetzung entfernt. Read more on Last.fm
