Faron Young (* 25. Februar 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana; † 10. Dezember 1996) war ein US-amerikanischer Country-Sänger.


Faron Young wuchs auf der Farm seiner Eltern im ländlichen Louisiana auf. Von seinem Football-Trainer beeinflusst fand er früh Zugang zur Country-Musik. Nachdem er erste Erfahrungen in einer High School Band gesammelt hatte, gelang ihm Anfang der fünfziger Jahre der Einstieg in die populäre Louisiana Hayride Show.
