Es gibt mindestens zwei Bands mit diesem Namen:

1) Magazine waren eine britische post-punk Band.
Das erste Magazine-Konzert fand im Oktober 1977 in Manchester statt. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit unterschrieb die Band einen Vertrag bei Virgin Records. Dickinson hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Band bereits wieder verlassen, so dass die erste Single Shot by both sides nur in einer Viererbesetzung aufgenommen wurde. Der neue, dauerhafte Keyboarder Dave Formula stieß erst 1978 dazu, rechtzeitig für das erste Album Real Life. Read more on Last.fm
