Wire
Wire (engl. „Draht/Leitung“) ist eine Band, die im Oktober 1976 in London mit Punkrock begann, sich über diesen Rahmen jedoch rasch hinausentwickelte. Die Mitglieder sind Colin Newman (Voc., Git., Keyb.), Bruce Gilbert (Git., Voc., Synth.), Graham Lewis (Bass, Voc., Synth.), Robert Gotobed (Mark Fields) (Drums, Perc.) und George Gill (Git., verließ die Band vor Mannequin).
