Loreena Isabel Irene McKennitt, CM, OM (* 17. Februar 1957 in Morden, Manitoba) ist eine kanadische Musikerin und Komponistin. Seit 1981 lebt sie in Stratford (Ontario).

Loreena McKennitt wurde am 17. Februar 1957 in Morden in der Provinz Manitoba geboren und hat irische und schottische Vorfahren. Ihre Mutter Irene war Krankenschwester und ihr Vater Jack Viehhändler.
