Current 93 ist eine experimentelle britische Musikgruppe, die 1983 von David Tibet (Geburtsname: David Michael Bunting) gegründet wurde.

Die früheren Werke von Current 93 waren stark vom Industrial und Noise beeinflusst. Häufig wurden verfremdete, geloopte Sample als Grundbasis für die, meist sehr langen, Stücke verwendet. Thematisch zeigte sich David Tibet in dieser Phase der Band unter anderem stark von den Werken Aleister Crowleys beeinflusst. Read more on Last.fm
