Kataklysm ist eine Death-Metal-Band aus Montréal (Québec), Kanada.
Kataklysm wurden 1991 gegründet und haben mit ihrer ersten Demo „Death Gate Cycle Of Reincarnation“ 1993 einen Plattenvertrag beim deutschen Label Nuclear Blast bekommen. Auf diesem Label haben Kataklysm seit 1993 insgesamt neun Alben und ein Re-Release veröffentlicht. Vier weitere Werke werden unter anderen Labels vertrieben.
