Telefon Tel Aviv ist ein Electronica Duo aus Chicago. In ihrer Musik gehen digitale Tonmanipulationen genauso auf wie zahlreiche akustische Instrumente, was zu Vergleichen mit Boards Of Canada geführt hat. Charles Cooper und Joshua Eustis gründeten ihre Band 1999 noch in New Orleans, bevor sie 2001 nach Chicago zogen. Ihre erste Produktion war 2000 ein Remix für Trent Reznors Industrial-Projekt Nine Inch Nails.
