La Roux ist ein englisches Elektropop-Duo unter der Leitung der jungen Elly Jackson, die vom Produzenten Ben Langmaid unterstützt wird. Elly fand ein Buch mit Babynamen in einem Mülleimer. In diesem Buch tauchte der Name "La Roux" auf. "La Roux" kommt vom Französischen für "die Rothaariger", Bezug nehmend auf Ellys auffallenden Haarstil. Ihre Musik ist stark von Popmusik der 80er Jahre beeinflusst, unter anderem von Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, The Human League, Yazoo und Prince. Read more on Last.fm
