Savatage ist eine Power Metal-Band aus Tampa, Florida. Ihr musikalischer Stil verarbeitet auf späteren Alben auch klassische und progressive sowie Musical-Einflüsse. Bekannt geworden sind Savatage vor allem durch ihre umfangreichen und sehr langen Konzeptalben sowie durch ihr erfolgreiches Nebenprojekt Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
