Dark Funeral ist eine schwedische Black Metal-Band aus Stockholm.

Bandgeschichte

Die Geschichte von Dark Funeral begann, als Lord Ahriman und David "Blackmoon" Parland im Jahre 1993 eine Band namens War Machine gründen und diese wenig später in Dark Funeral umbenannten. Themgoroth und Draugen gesellten sich zu dem Duo und nahmen innerhalb eines Jahres eine selbstbetitelte Mini-CD in Dan Swanös Unisound-Studio auf. Nach der Aufnahme dieser Demo verließ Draugen die Band, sein Platz am Schlagzeug wurde von Equimanthorn übernommem. Read more on Last.fm
