Leftfield war ein britisches Musikproduzenten-Duo. Es wurde 1989 von Paul Daley (zuvor Mitglied bei A Man Called Adam und den Brand New Heavies) und Neil Barnesin in London gegründet. Leftfield veröffentlichte zwei von der Kritik hoch gelobte Alben und waren auch als Remixer aktiv. Leftfield gilt heute als Pioniere der Intelligent Dance Music.
Mit dem 1993 veröffentlichten "Open Up", der in Zusammenarbeit mit John Lydon entstand, landete Leftfield ihren ersten Mainstream-Hit. Read more on Last.fm
