Melody Joy Gardot (* 2. Februar 1985 in New Jersey) ist eine US-amerikanische Jazz-Sängerin und Singer-Songwriter.

Mit gerade einmal 22 Jahren hatte die Sängerin und Songschreiberin Melody Gardot bereits erkannt, wie wertvoll Subtilität und Understatement sein können. Beide Elemente tragen dazu bei, daß einem ihr Debütalbum "Worrisome Heart" (das in den USA bereits 2006 veröffentlicht wurde) einerseits irgendwie vertraut vorkommt und einen andererseits doch außerordentlich überrascht.
