Stephen Stills (*03/01/1945) gehört zu den überragendsten Gitarristen der 60er und 70er Jahre.
1966 gründete er zusammen mit Neil Young Buffalo Springfield die vor allem als Live-Band einen legendären Ruf in den USA hatten. Einer ihrer größten Hits war "For What It's Worth" (von S. Stills geschrieben), der 1998 sogar von Public Enemy gesamplet werden sollte.
Nach dem Ende von Buffalo Springfield 1968, schloss Stills sich mit David Crosby (von The Byrds) und Graham Nash (von The Hollies) zusammen als Crosby, Stills & Nash. Read more on Last.fm
