Uriah Heep ist eine britische Hard Rock-Band, benannt nach einer Figur aus dem Roman David Copperfield von Charles Dickens. Gemeinsam mit Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin und Nazareth zählen Uriah Heep zu den frühen und erfolgreichsten Vertretern des Genres. Andererseits war die Geschichte der Band auch geprägt von häufigen Mitgliederwechseln, Todesfällen, musikalischen Differenzen und Drogenproblemen.
