The Ruins of Beverast ist das Black-Metal-Hauptprojekt des Musikers Meilenwald.

Geschichte:
Meilenwald ist ein Mitbegruender des Wod-Van, eines Interessen- und Freundeskreises von Black Metallern aus dem Raum Aachen.
Erfahrungen sammelte er primaer in der Wod-Van-Band Nagelfar und einigen anderen befreundeten Bands (Abusus, Truppensturm, Kermania). Nach der Aufloesung von Nagelfar begann Meilenwald mit der Arbeit an The Ruins of Beverast.
