Gary Numan (eigentlich: Gary Anthony James Webb; * 8. März 1958) ist ein britischer Musiker und Pionier des Elektropop.

Seine Karriere begann er Ende der 1970er als Mitglied der Band Tubeway Army, die mit ihrem Song Are 'Friends' Electric? 1979 einen Welthit landete. Im gleichen Jahr wurde das Album Replicas Nummer 1 in den britischen Charts, ein weiterer Nr.1 Single-Hit folgte mit Cars.
