Ladytron ist eine Electropop-Band, die 1998 in Liverpool, Großbritannien, gegründet wurde.
Der Bandname wurde einem Roxy Music-Song entlehnt.

BANDGESCHICHTE:

Nachdem Ladytron 2001 ihr Debütalbum "604" veröffentlichten, wurden auf der einen Seite kritische Stimmen gegenüber ihrer Elektropop-Attitüde laut.
Auf der anderen Seite jedoch gab es eine Reihe von nacheifernden Bands, die ebenfalls mit elektronischen 80er-Sounds arbeiteten.
