Nicholas Edward Cave (* 22. September 1957 in Warracknabeal, Australien) ist ein australischer Musiker, Texter, Dichter und Schauspieler.

Leben und Werk

Nick Cave wurde als Sohn von Dawn und Colin Cave geboren. Er hat drei Geschwister namens Tim (* 1952), Peter (* 1954) und Julie (* 1959). Seine Mutter arbeitete als Bibliothekarin, sein Vater war Lehrer für englische Literatur und starb 1975 bei einem Autounfall (Nick war zu dem Zeitpunkt 18 Jahre alt).
