Oasis war eine britische Band aus Manchester, die im Oktober 1991 gegründet wurde. Sie gilt als der erfolgreichste Vertreter des Britpop und ist neben ihrer Musik auch bekannt für die Skandale der Brüder Liam und Noel Gallagher. Die Band hat bis heute weltweit über 80 Millionen Tonträger verkauft.
