David Lee Roth (* 10. Oktober 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana (USA) war von Mitte der 1970er bis Mitte der 1980er Jahre Sänger der Hard-Rock-Formation Van Halen.

Nachdem er als Sänger von Van Halen Berühmtheit erlangt hatte, startete er 1985 mit der EP Crazy from the heat (2x Platinum) eine Solokarriere. Die Titel California Girls, Just a gigolo und Coconut Grove waren ausgesprochen erfolgreich und läuteten damit das Ende seiner Zeit bei Van Halen ein. Read more on Last.fm
