John Michael „Ozzy“ Osbourne (* 3. Dezember 1948 in Birmingham-Aston) ist ein britischer Rockmusiker. Bekannt wurde Ozzy Osbourne als Lead-Sänger der den Heavy Metal prägenden Hard Rock-Band Black Sabbath. Als Solokünstler erreichte er ab 1980 bis Mitte der 1990er mehrere Platinauszeichnungen. Er trägt den Beinamen Godfather of Metal (Pate des Metal) und Prince of Darkness (Fürst der Finsternis) ein. Dieser Erfolg ist auch seiner Frau und Managerin Sharon Osbourne zu verdanken; mit ihrer Hilfe gründete Ozzy 1996 auch das Ozzfest. Read more on Last.fm
