Alan Parsons (* 20. Dezember 1948 in London) ist ein britischer Musiker, Produzent und Mitgründer von The Alan Parsons Project.

Schon als Kind lernte Parsons Klavier, Gitarre und Flöte - interessierte sich später aber mehr für die Arbeit hinter den Kulissen. Er lernte in den Abbey Road Studios in London sein Handwerk und war Assistenz-Toningenieur bei den Aufnahmen zu den Beatles-Alben Abbey Road (1969) und Let It Be (1970).
