Journey sind mit über 75 Millionen verkauften Alben eine der erfolgreichsten US-amerikanischen Rockbands. Sie gelten als Mitbegründer des Adult-oriented Rock (AOR).

Bandgeschichte

Die Band wird im Jahre 1973 in San Francisco von den beiden ehemaligen Santana-Mitgliedern Neal Schon und Gregg Rolie gegründet. Vervollständigt wird die Formation durch Ross Valory, Prairie Prince und George Tickner.

Prince verlässt die Band allerdings schon vor der Fertigstellung der ersten LP und wird durch Aynsley Dunbar ersetzt. Read more on Last.fm
