Bandgeschichte [Sum 41]

1996 beschlossen die beiden High-School-Schüler Deryck „Bizzy D“ Whibley (Gesang, Gitarre) und Steve „Stevo32“ Jocz (Schlagzeug) aus Langeweile, die Band „Sum 41“ zu gründen. Ihr Name erklärt sich daraus, dass die Gründung 41 Tage nach Sommerbeginn erfolgte. Noch im selben Jahr stießen Richard „Twitch“ Roy (Bass) und Mark Costanzo (Gitarre) dazu.
