Dragonland aus Göteborg, Schweden spielen sinfonischen und sehr melodischen Power Metal. Der Bandname stammt noch aus den Anfangstagen der ersten zwei Alben "THE BATTLE OF THE IVORY PLAINS" (2001) und "HOLY WAR" (2002), als sich lyrisch alles um die "Dragonland Chronicles" drehte, eine eigens erdachte Fantasy-Story.

Mit "STARFALL" (2004) wurde dieses Textkonzept abgelegt, man unterschrieb beim Independent-Label Century Media, und Dragonland entwickelten sich von einer Speed Melodic Metal-Combo mit eingängigen Hymnen zu einer Band Read more on Last.fm
