Vanessa Lynn Williams (* 18. März 1963 in New York City) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin.

Die Eltern von Williams waren Musiklehrer. Sie studierte Klavierspiel an der Syracuse University. Im Jahr 1983 wurde sie Miss New York, am 17. September 1983 wurde sie zur ersten Miss America mit afroamerikanischen Wurzeln gewählt.
