Mercury Rev ist eine amerikanische Rockband, die Ende der 1980er-Jahre von David Baker (Gesang), Jonathan Donahue (Gitarre), Sean "Grasshopper" Mackowiak (Gitarre), Dave Fridmann (Bass), Suzanne Thorpe (Flöte) und Jimmy Chambers (Schlagzeug) in Buffalo, New York gegründet wurde.
