Jackson Browne (* 9. Oktober 1948 in Heidelberg, Deutschland) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rockmusiker.

Biografie

Browne, der Sohn eines in Deutschland stationierten US-Soldaten, lebt seit seinem dritten Lebensjahr in Los Angeles. Als Teenager lernte er Gitarre spielen und war Mitglied in mehreren Bands, u. a. in der Country-Formation Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. In den 1960er Jahren schrieb er seine ersten Songs. Anfang der 1970er Jahre war er einer der bedeutendsten amerikanischen Liedermacher neben Joni Mitchell und James Taylor. Read more on Last.fm
