Die Talking Heads waren eine US-amerikanische Rockband aus New York, die zu den bekanntesten und erfolgreichsten Vertretern der amerikanischen Post-Punk- und New Wave-Bewegung der 1980er Jahre gezählt werden. Die Kunststudenten David Byrne, Tina Weymouth und Chris Frantz trafen sich Mitte der 1970er Jahre auf der Rhode Island School of Design.
