Roy Montgomery (* 1959) ist ein Komponist, Gitarrist und Dozent aus Christchurch, Neuseeland. Montgomerys meist instrumentale Solowerke enthalten Elemente aus Post-Rock-, Lo-Fi-, Folk- und Avantgarde. Sein charakteristischer Sound kann als atmosphärisch oder filmisch beschrieben werden, oft mit komplexen Schichten von Chiming-, Echo- und/oder Drone-Elementen.
