The Last Shadow Puppets sind eine britische Baroque Pop/ Indie-Rock-Band, die im August 2007 als Nebenprojekt von Alex Turner, Frontmann der Arctic Monkeys, und Miles Kane, Gitarrist bei The Little Flames und Leadsinger von The Rascals, gegründet wurde. Turner und Kane lernen sich 2005 während einer gemeinsamen Tour kennen. 2007 beginnen die beiden gemeinsam Songs zu schreiben, Miles Kane tritt außerdem als Gastgitarrist auf dem zweiten Arctic-Monkeys-Album "Favourite Worst Nightmare" auf und spielt auch bei einigen Konzerten der Band mit.
