The Yardbirds sind eine englische Rockband, in der die später berühmt gewordenen Rockgitarristen Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck und Jimmy Page Mitglieder waren.

Die Yardbirds wurden 1962 in London gegründet. Die erste erfolgreiche Besetzung der Gruppe bestand aus Keith Relf (Gesang und Mundharmonika), Eric Clapton (Gitarre), Chris Dreja (Rhythmus-Gitarre), Paul Samwell-Smith (Bass) und Jim McCarty (Schlagzeug).
