Fats Domino (* 26. Februar 1928 in New Orleans; eigentlich Antoine Domino, verstorben am 24. Oktober 2017) war ein US-amerikanischer Rhythm-and-Blues-Musiker.

Biografie

Der Sänger, Pianist und Komponist lernte das Klavierspielen von seinem Schwager Harrison Verrett. Bei einem Arbeitsunfall in der Fabrik, in der er bereits mit 14 Jahren arbeitet, verliert er fast seine Finger. 1948 heiratet er seine Jugendfreundin Rosemary Hall, mit der er acht Kinder großzieht.
