Seeed ist eine Berliner Musikgruppe, die vor allem in den Genres Reggae und Dancehall tätig ist. Sie besteht aus elf Musikern und gewann dreimal den Echo.

Geschichte
Die Band Seeed wurde 1998 in Anlehnung an das Konzept der „Marching Band“ und als „mobiles Reggae-Sondereinsatzkommando“ (siehe Sound system) gegründet. Anfangs war sie für die stilistisch eher untypischen Instrumente wie Posaune und Saxophon bekannt. Sie entwickelte jedoch eine Vorliebe für basslastige und am Computer produzierte Riddims.
