Gene Loves Jezebel ist eine Gothic-Rockband aus den frühen Achtzigern. Gegründet wurde die Band von den Zwillingsbrüdern Michael und Jay Aston (geboren Peter Aston).

Michael Aston war eher der Poetische der Zwillingsbrüder mit Hang zur Gothic-Kultur, während Jay Astons ausgeprägt elfenhafter und klagender Gesang eines der vielen Markenzeichen der Band war.
