Kate Bush (* 30. Juli 1958 in Bexleyheath, Kent, England; eigentlich Catherine Bush) ist eine englische Sängerin, Pianistin und Songwriterin.

Kate Bush wurde 1975 von David Gilmour, dem Gitarristen von Pink Floyd, entdeckt und der EMI vorgestellt. Dort erschien 1978 ihr Debütalbum The Kick Inside, das nach wie vor als eines ihrer besten Alben gilt und ihren Single-Hit Wuthering Heights beinhaltet. Ihren ersten Fernsehauftritt hatte sie 1978 in der ARD-Sendung "Bios Bahnhof", und ihre einzige Tournee fand im Jahr 1979 statt. Read more on Last.fm
