Vanilla Ninja sind ein Pop-Rock-Trio aus Estland.

Gründung und Debüt-Album

Vanilla Ninja wurde 2002 als vierköpfige Girlband gegründet. Die Original-Besetzung bestand aus Maarja Kivi (Bassgitarre), Lenna Kuurmaa (Gitarre), Katrin Siska (Keyboard) und Piret Järvis (Gitarre). Alle Bandmitglieder betätigten sich anfangs als Sänger. Ihr Produzent war Sven Lõhmus.

Anfang 2002 nahm Kivi am Eurolaul, dem estnischen Vorentscheid zum Eurovision Song Contest, teil, bei dem sie den siebten Platz erreichte. Read more on Last.fm
