Claude King (* 5. Februar 1923 in Shreveport, Louisiana)† 7. März 2013 in Shreveport war ein US-amerikanischer Country-Sänger.

Nach seiner College-Zeit arbeitete King als Bauingenieur. In seiner Freizeit hatte er Auftritte in der lokale Clubszene von Shreveport. 1961 erhielt er von Columbia einen Schallplattenvertrag. Bereits seine erste Single, Big River, Big Man, schaffte es bis in die Top-Ten der Country-Charts. Seine übernächste Platte, Wolverton Mountain, wurde 1962 zu einem der größten Erfolge der damaligen Jahre. Read more on Last.fm
