Guided by Voices (abgekürzt GbV) war eine Independent-Band um Robert Pollard aus Dayton, Ohio, USA. Die Band gilt als eine der Pioniere des Lo-Fi.

Werdegang
GbV wurde Anfang der 1980er-Jahre gegründet, erlangten aber erst Anfang der 1990er-Jahre überregionale Bekanntheit. Das Album Bee Thousand aus dem Jahr 1994 gilt als einer der Meilensteine des Lo-Fi, die ausgekoppelte Single I Am a Scientist war ein Indie-Hit.
