Steve Earle (* 17. Januar 1955 in Fort Monroe, Virginia) ist ein US-amerikanischer Country-Sänger und Songwriter. Musikalisch wird er dem Alternative Country zugeordnet.

Steve Earle wurde am 17. Januar 1955 als Sohn eines Fluglotsen in Ft. Monroe, Virginia, geboren. Schon als 14jähriger spielte er in den "Coffeehouses" in San Antonio, Texas.
