Megadeth (engl., Ableitung von megadeath, deutsch: Megatoter, eine Million Todesopfer) ist eine amerikanische Metalband, die 1983 von Sänger und Gitarrist Dave Mustaine, Gitarrist Greg Handevidt, Bassist David Ellefson und Schlagzeuger Dijon Carruthers gegründet wurde, nachdem Mustaine Metallica verlassen hatte. Handevidt wurde schon vor dem ersten Konzert durch Kerry King ersetzt, der allerdings nach fünf Konzerten sein Augenmerk wieder ausschließlich Slayer widmete. Read more on Last.fm
