Underworld ist der Hauptname des britischen Elektronik-Duos Karl Hyde und Rick Smith. Ab 1992 gehörte auch Darren Emerson zur Gruppe, die er im Jahre 2000 aber auf Grund von Streitigkeiten verließ.

Geschichte:

Anfang der 80er bildeten Hyde/Smith mit Bryn B. Burrows, John Warwicker und Alfie Thomas die Band Freur, die es auf zwei LPs ("Doot Doot 1984" und "Get Us Out Of Here 1985") brachte, wobei mit "Doot Doot" ein kleiner Singleerfolg gelang. Read more on Last.fm
