Cradle of Filth (engl. für ‚Wiege des Drecks‘) ist eine britische Metal-Band aus Suffolk, England, gegründet 1991 in Colne Lancs. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Metal-Bands mit massenuntauglicheren Stil und Spielweisen konnte Cradle of Filth zunehmend kommerzielle Erfolge verbuchen, weswegen ihr von vielen Vertretern des Black Metal Ausverkauf und Kommerzialisierung vorgeworfen wird.

Biografie
