Die Pet Shop Boys sind ein britisches Electropop-Duo, bestehend aus Neil Tennant und Chris Lowe, das seit Mitte der 1980er Jahre mit Hits wie West End Girls, It's a Sin oder Go West international erfolgreich ist. Neben ihren eigenen Erfolgstiteln schreiben und produzieren die Pet Shop Boys auch für andere Künstler und sind als Komponisten von Filmmusik erfolgreich. Bisher haben die Pet Shop Boys weltweit 100 Millionen Tonträger verkauft.
