Rival Sons ist eine amerikanische Rockband aus Los Angeles, USA.

Die Band wurde im Juni 2008 von Scott Holiday, Mike Miley und Robin Everhart gegründet. Etwas später stieß der Singer-Songwriter Jay Buchanan als Sänger dazu. Auf Buchanan stieß Holiday auf dessen Myspace-Seite. In Deutschland machte die Band bisher neben einigen wenigen Konzerten durch ihre TV-Auftritte in der Harald Schmidt Show, sowie neoParadise auf sich aufmerksam.
